I’ve added pictures for April. Below are some videos from of our April adventures.

We spent the afternoon visiting with Grammy and Gramps and some new friends at the winery today. I took some videos of the kids playing and singing…

After a long period of neglect I’ve added new photos for July, August and as much of September as has occurred so far.  These include our beach trip in July/August, Sabine’s  various and sundry birthday celebrations,  the Clackamas Country Fair, Oregon State Fair and Sabine’s first day of Kindergarten.

I’ve just finished adding pics for January. We’ve also recently added pics for December and November.

Over the last couple of days the kid(s) and I have been out wandering around the neighborhood on foot and on “vehicles”. Here are some pics.

Sabine’s mom and Auntie Suzan spent some time this Sunday at the salon getting pedicures. Sabine went along as well but she got both a pedicure and manicure.

I finally got around to updating the photo galleries. There’s new stuff in the How Big Are We, May 2008  and June 2008 galleries. The new pictures include dinosaurs at the Zoo, Rose Festival parade, Sabine’s dress reheasal for her ballet class’ showcase and playing in the fountain at the farmer’s market.

CDC Art Show

We consider ourselves very lucky that Sabine and Santiago are both able to attend the Child Development Center (CDC) where I work. This year because of the friendship she’s developed with one of her classmates Sabine and her friend Baaz were asked to be speakers at the CDC’s 15th annual Art and Curriculum show. They were interviewed together and the interview was made into a movie shown to the audience at the opening.  Baaz and Sabine were asked to get up in front of the crowd and introduce themselves and the movie. The CDC was kind enough to provide us a copy of the movie and video of their introductions which are below.

There are also copies of the movies available for offline viewing (.mp4):

In April Annie and I took the kids down to Woodburn for the Tulip Fest festivities. We’ve done this the last couple of years with Sabine since it’s a great opportunity to take photos. This year Santiago joined us for the first time.

Looking at fields of flowers isn’t particularly interesting to a three year old, fortunately there are some activities for the kids. Read the rest of this entry »
